Calhoun County Shcool District Controlled Open Enrollment

The Calhoun County School District Controlled Open Enrollment application window for the 2020-2021 school year opened on March 27, 2020 and closes on May 1, 2020.  The plan allows students to attend a public school outside the student’s established residential attendance/transportation zone, as well as public schools in neighboring counties, as long as the requested school has not reached capacity subject to the maximum class size. Transportation will not be provided by the Calhoun County School District to the school of choice if regular transportation is not available.

In order for your child to be assured enrollment in the Calhoun County School District’s school of choice, please complete the Controlled Open Enrollment application and contract. The completed application and contract must be returned to the Superintendent’s Office by May 1, 2020. Applications may be returned by:

  • In person at the Superintendent’s Office.
